Richard Perry is a Financial Research and Platform Testing Analyst at BestBrokers, specialising in technical analysis, global market strategy, and the evaluation of online brokers and trading platforms. He has more than 20 years of experience working with financial-services companies in London and has covered forex, equities, indices, commodities, gold, and other major global markets.
Before contributing to BestBrokers, Richard served as Lead Market Analyst at Hantec Markets, where he produced market research, trading education, webinars, videos, and strategy commentary for the broker’s clients. He has also worked with Infinox and operates Perry Market Analysis, an independent consultancy providing written, video, and webinar-based analysis of global financial markets.
Richard graduated from the University of Reading with a degree in Politics and Economics. He holds a Diploma in Technical Analysis from the Society of Technical Analysts, awarded with distinction, and completed the Private Client Investment Advice and Management qualification with merit. During his career, he has contributed to financial publications and appeared as a market commentator on outlets including CNBC and Bloomberg.
